I would like to participate in Payroll Accounting, because I do have some experience in Payroll.
 I would also like to do a Digital Media Production, because it sounds interesting

BPA Meeting

During the meeting we need to explain to people what BPA is all about.
To be in BPA I think these are the requirements we need to have:

*Can not be failing
*Have to have good behavior
*Need to have some experience wiht computers

During the meeting we also need to talk to the students about what we do in BPA, like events and competing.

Career Expo Participant Letter

Dear, Career Expo Participants

    I would like to thank you for your participation in our Career Expo. It is greatly appreciated. 

I think you all did a wonderful job and I think the turn out was a sucess. 

Without your participation, this Expo wouldn't have happened. I also would like to thank you for being friendly and patient. Also, for talking to the students and doing your best. Thank you for your dedication.

BPA Events

Individual:
I would like to do Payroll Accounting, because I've experienced and worked with Payroll before. I think I could excel in this event.


Team:
I would like to Small Business Business Management Teams, because I think it would be cool to do problem solving and solutions

BPA

I expect to be working in business or business related careers.  I expect to work with computers and get certified in things. I think BPA teaches you about social skills, technology, and professional skills. 

Event Evaluation

Good

I thought that we had a decent number of participants.I thought the participants were friendly and I'm glad people came up and talked to them. I also liked how they had free stuff.I really liked how they were kind of persuading people to get interested in their careers.

Bad

I didn't like that the participants were leaving early. I also didn't like that the participants were on their cell phones constantly. Some of the participants were very quiet at some points. I didn't like how some of the participants looked very bored, and like they didn't want to be at the expo.

Different

I would have called the participants and told them to bring free stuff ( business cards, pamphlets, etc..) I would have gotten more interesting careers. I also would have called the businesses in advance, so we wouldn't have a last minute cancellation.

Issues

The issues we are having is people not calling is back. I'm also concerned, because some businesses haven't e-mailed us back.

Sept 23 2010

Today I sent e-mails to different businesses who needed more info. I also wrote down business's to call.

Commitment Problem

The reasons why we have trouble getting people to commit to out expomis, because they are very busy. Also, they are sometimes not interested, because they might think that High School kids are trouble.

Career

I want to be a Photographer. I've always wanted to be a photographer, because it's amazing what you can capture, and it relaxes me. I love taking pictures of people,nature, places and anything that appeals to me.

Bim 2 expo

What I've learned from calling these businesses is how to speak better on the phone. I'm not as nervous. I also learned how to handle people saying no, or  I know what to do if the person on the other line is not very friendly or is difficult to talk to. I would normally just hang up, but now I can handle it in a professional and calm manner.

Project Problem

I think a problem is the dress code. For example, shoes. I don't understand why we can't wear flip  flops or sandals, it's not like it's hurting anybody.
 Also, I want to know why we can't wear  hats. I say we should be allowed to wear them, when we're not in class, but we should be able to wear them in the morning, lunch, and in between classes. (This goes for boys and girls.)
